Wow. How did Gunnar Heinsohn miss those? Can't remember Cyaxares succeeding Cambyses though, or Smerdis coming before the latter. I guess I must be brainwashed by some shadowy cabal of scholars, who may or may not be the secret rulers of the world, possibly along with the Vatican (via Opus Dei of course), the Freemasons and many other reptilian shapeshifters.
