NC manager 4.0
« on: May 26, 2008, 10:48:19 AM »

The NC manager is the software I wrote myself to edit the data stored in my database. Here's a few screenshots to give an impression of how it works.

From the screenshots, that looks impressive. Could I ask you what software/language you used in writing the programme?

I have written it in C# for the Microsoft .NET platform. On request of TuckerResearch I have implemented an offline-version (that needs no database and works with files). If you want it you can have it. It just does not yet have all features of the online-version.

Thanks for the info. Please, if you would - I'd be most interested in checking it out.

It's an excellent piece of kit. I spent a few hours looking at it some time ago (downloading it again - computer said "no" - and, of course, muggins here didn't back up  Roll Eyes ).

Oh, would you need an update?
Maybe I should implement an update mechanism into the application as well...

I have far to little time to implement all I want in the NC manager. Right now I change the Placemarks editor so that it can also function in the offline version. I will post a note here when I have something new.

Well, I realize now how little I have done in recent months. It really is a shame.

Oh, and a Happy New Year to you and welcome back  Grin

That looks rather impressive. Would it be possible to get a copy. If you don't have the time to add all the features you would like then I wouldn't mind having a go at adding some too. If I can find the time of course.

You want my source code??? Shocked  Grin
Well, I will think about it. Right now I can give you the application. There is an online and an offline version, and I have already given the offline version to some people. The online version would require that you have a webspace with php/MySql installed. Or would you want to connect to my database?
And I need to check whether it still compiles...

No I don't want your source code  Roll Eyes was just an offer to help if you wanted it but I'm not really a PHP or mySQL, more C#, Javascript and Oracle. I wouldn't mind browsing the offline version though. Thanks
