Doesn't Rohl postulate that Agenor may be one and the same as Aqenienre Apepi?
Auserre Apepi (Epaphus) is supposed to be Agenor's grandfather through Libya, Apepi's daughter. Or who do you mean with Aqenienre ?

"Lords of Avaris" page 495:

"Perhaps we may see the legendary Agenor ... in a well-attested but unpositioned king named Akenenre Apophis." (emphasis mine)

"Lords of Avaris" page 495:

"Perhaps we may see the legendary Agenor ... in a well-attested but unpositioned king named Akenenre Apophis." (emphasis mine)
I have only two kings named Apepi/Apopi/Ipepi in my database: Auserre Apepi of the Greater Hyksos and one Apepi in the Lesser Hyksos bag of king names.
However, I found something on the web about "Akenenre Apopi (1387-1326 OC) who was slain in Greece: Aweserre Apopi (1227-1166 OC) who fought a native rebellion which rocked the country in 1227: and Nebkhepeshre Apopi (1090-1076 OC) of Dynasty XVII, whose short reign ended in the collapse of Hyksos dominion in Egypt. ("Egypt of the Pharaohs" by Gardiner, pages 157-168 and 443.)" on >here< (which seems to dwell on Herman L Hoeh's, um, findings)
Into which line would I have to add this Akenenre Apophis?

OK, I've just read the section. Rohl seems to imply that Agenor/Apepi does belong to the Hyksos line of kings in Egypt but he does not place him. He suggests that there has been a confusion of names in Apophis' flight to Phoenicia, where the better-known Auserre Apepi would be usually refered to. But wouldn't that require that these two Apepis were roughly contemporary?

It is conceivable that the two "A. Apepi" kings have been conflated - Greek traditions suggest that Kadmos (Khamudy) is the son or grandson of Agenor.

Kings of Yamhad (a Hurrian/Amorite kingdom based around Aleppo).
Yarim-Lim 1c.1570-1550
Hammurabi (Ammurapi) 1c.1550-1530
Abbael (Abban) 1c.1530-1510
Yarim-Lim 2c.1510-1490
Niqmepuh (Niqmiepu') 1c.1490-1470
Irkabtumc.1470-1450
Hammurabi (Ammurapi) 2c.1450-1430
Yarim-Lim 3c.1430-1410

Please note that this is VERY tentative and most certainly merits further investigation.

There is also a cadet line ruling at Alalakh (Tell Atchana): -
Yarim-Lim 1 (brother of Abbael)c.1520-1495
Ammitaqumc.1495-1470
Yarim-Lim 2?c.1470-1445
Hammurabic.1445-1420

There are later kings of Aleppo (Ili-Ilimma) and Alalakh (Idrimi, Niqmiepu' and Ili-Ilimma 2) known, though I'm not quite sure where to place them. They're swimming around the Middle Hittite/Mitanni period somewhere.

Are these OC or NC dates?

And I really need to make a map of the region that would display all the (city) states....

These are a very provisional attempt at NC dates. There are no reliable OC dates I've come across, bar Yarim-Lim 1 of Yamhad's being of the time of Hammurabi in Babylon.

I've added Hammurabi of Babylon to the chart

BTW, although I've not had the nerve to upgrade the forum, I am adding some functionality to the website. I am adding synchronism and identity links, a monuments list (for pyramids, zikkurats, etc), and image galleries for entries and monuments. I guess/hope I'll have those features working by tomorrow evening or so (however, I expect a hard week at work  Tongue...).

Sounds interesting. I'll look through the lists I've given you and note any synchronisms I've not already noted.

Hmmm..... Abimilku, I believe, wrote a letter to Akhenaten, offering his condolences upon the death of Amenhotep 3. It's in this letter that we're informed of the fire at Ugarit during which the tablet detailing the eclipse was apparently baked.

Abimilku's floruit would then be 1012. If his reign started in, say, 1015, it is not hard to see him as Abibaal's immediate predecessor.
